It's Not Fair is a narrative Rpg that uses therapeutic understandings of grief and marries them up with Game design techniques in order to create an environment where grief can be portrayed in an accurate, understandable, and fun way.

Story

The story follows a boy being chased by a relentless monster, trying to find any means of escape possible. Over time he meets several people with their own monsters, and through learning about their struggles, he slowly re-evaluates his relationship with his own monster.

Grief

It takes place in the area between the initial shock of loss, and the beginning of the grief process, covering topics such as stagnation, fear of the unknown, and how suffocating and terrifying the process of grief can seem.

Healing after a great loss can seem impossible, so conversations about moving in healthy directions, even when they seem scary, are very important.

How To Play

Move - Arrow Keys/WASD

Interact/Jump - SPACE

In case of bugs (hopefully sparce) 

Ctrl+R - Reset game

Ctrl+D - End dialogue in case of loop bug (that should be resolved)
